Art Classes

Children's Classes

Children explore drawing, painting and sculpting in a dedicated art studio. The emphasis is on encouraging self-expression and creative thinking while learning new and exciting techniques and developing observational skills. Students are introduced to historical art personalities, their work and influences which provide a springboard for their own art making.

Tracy is a fully qualified fine art teacher with 12 years of formal teaching experience in a primary school. She is passionate about nurturing young people’s artistic talents and skills.

“As an art student of Tracy Witelson for some of my childhood, all of my adolescence and the beginning of my adult life, I have no doubt of the positive impact her teaching has had on my life. I find the environment of her art classes to be creative and supportive, and her guidance to allow for constructive direction as well as freedom to experiment in one’s artworks. These art classes have been an enriching experience, and I look forward to many, many more.”
